Why you see this screen

TalkStik opens here until you have finished your first session. It is a short checklist, because the thing most likely to stop a session is not the app. It is arriving without the other person, or without something they need.

Once you have your first report, this screen never appears again.

What a session needs

• Two people. One conversation, taken in turns.
• Each of you on your own phone. You will not pass one phone back and forth. Both of you install TalkStik and have it open. Your partner also signs in on their phone before you start; without an account they cannot join your session, whatever code you give them.
• The same room. TalkStik is not a video call. It is built for two people sitting together, and taking turns only works if you can hear each other in the room. Sit however you feel comfortable.

Then what?

Continue takes you to the welcome screen, where Start a conversation begins the real thing. Nothing has been created yet and nothing is waiting on you. The checklist is only here so that your first session is not the one that goes wrong.
