How TalkStik works

The welcome screen walks you through the whole idea in three steps:

1. Take the stick — share what’s on your mind. While you hold the stick, you speak and your partner listens; each turn is up to 2 minutes.
2. Pass it back and forth — now it’s their turn to be heard, and the stick keeps moving for as long as you both want. End the session when you are finished.
3. See the field — afterwards you each get a private reflection and a shared view.

The two buttons

• Start a conversation — asks whether your partner is with you right now. If they are, TalkStik creates the session and gives you a 6-character code to show them. Nothing is created until you answer. See Start a session.
• Join with a code — for when your partner has already started a session and read you their code. See Join a session.

TalkStik needs an account on both sides — each of you signs in on your own phone before a session can start.
